What Decide Can Do:

1. Extract Insights from Your Uploaded File:

   Decide can analyze your file and answer questions like, "Who are the top 5 most active users this month?" If your file contains that information, it will give you the answer.

2. Generate Spreadsheets with a Simple Slack Command:

   • For Google Sheets: Just type /spreadsheet [your request] in a message to Decide on Slack. It will create a Google Spreadsheet with the data you need.
   • For Excel Sheets: Type /excel [your request] in a message to Decide on Slack, and it will generate an Excel sheet for you.

How to Prompt Decide:

• Make sure you upload a CSV or JSON file. If you just need a SQL query, you can upload a SQL schema as well—Decide is optimized for that.
• Keep your prompt clear, simple, and related to the file you uploaded to get the best results.

Decide Limitations (for Excel and Spreadsheet Creation):

Decide struggles with very large files, especially when creating Excel or Google Sheets if the result you asked to be generated exceeds over 3,000 words. This is due to a limitation in the language model we use, which can only handle up to 8,129 tokens.

If your requested sheet doesn't exceed this limit, your sheet will be created. However, if it does, you may encounter errors or delays in getting a response. Larger files may also take longer to process. We're working on improving this in future updates.
